The Cannes Festival, named until 2002 as the International Film Festival. We known in English as the Cannes Film Festival, is an annual film festival held in Cannes, France. Which previews new films of all genres, including documentaries from around the world. Founded in 1946, it is one of the most publicised, together with the Berlin International Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival. The invitation-only festival is held annually at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.

Host: French actor Laurent Lafitte has been announced as the host for the opening and closing ceremonies.
Opening and President: American director Woody Allen’s film Café Society has been selected to open the festival.
Australian director George Miller has been announced as the President of the Jury for the main competition.
Japanese director Naomi Kawase would serve as the Cinéfondation and Short Film Jury president.
